Hey. I know this question is kind of stupid, and definitely over done, but I would really like to hear a few of your opinions. I’m in the process of applying and I’m really nervous about getting in. I will not be able to send my application in until mid-October due to the fact that my pre-health committee is taking forever to figure out a date when they can all get together to interview me. So, I will definitely not have the advantage of getting my application in early. As far as stats go, I have a 3.5 overall gpa and got a 330 on the OATs. I’m planning on applying to Salus and ICO now, and then sending in a few more applications in a month or so depending on what happens with these two. I would like to send in more right now, but do not have the money to pay for more applications or trips to interviews. So considering your past and current experiences, how good do you think my chances of acceptance will be? Thanks!

Forgive my flippance, but, your question indeed is "over-done," and I have no idea how anyone in this forum can answer it to your satisfaction. It's the sort of inquiry that seems to desire a quantitative response, and that cannot be delivered — there's no way anyone can tell you how your "chances" are of being accepted to any particular school; probably, the best you'll get is, "Just go for it, man!" "Keep on reachin' for that dream!" "Never say 'never'!" "Trix are for kids!" ...You get the picture.

The later you get your application in, the worse your odds of admission — so, October's better than March of next year, but worse than July of this one. Do with that what you will.
