Appreciation

Hey SDN!!

I've been following this board almost religiously since June, but this is the first time I've posted. I just wanted to show my appreciation to all of you for sharing your successes and stresses with everyone, making the whole process a definite learning experience. Does anyone agree?

I owe a lot to you all and I wish the best for everyone. Given my stats, I feel VERY fortunate to have received some of the opportunities that I have been given. The value of perserverance should definitely NOT be underestimated.

Just to be fair, here are my "stats:"

Overall: 20 year old college senior, VA resident
Major: engineering
GPA: 3.28
MCAT: 9V, 10B, 11P, QW
Interviews (past & future):
UVA, EVMS, VCU, Duke, GW, Hopkins,
Georgetown, U-MD
Acceptances: UVA, VCU

Congrats on the acceptances! You seem to have successfully overcome what many would see as a possible problem area (i.e. slightly low GPA). Yet more proof that this is not strictly about numbers. Have you decided between UVA and VCU?

How did you like UVA when you interviewed? I thought it was a great school, and I'd love to hear what you thought!
