Hey Everyone, i was just wondering if anyone had ever had a medical school interview? or knew what attire was appropriate for men during an interview? Obviously i know a suit and tie is a must but im just wondering if you should dress conservative or not. Thanks!!

Take this with a grain of salt 'cause it is hearsay, but my father met someone that is faculty at an Irish University. This guy said that the Irish schools are very traditional, and that for the interview you should dress conservatively. Suit, tie, black shoes (polished), etc. It is about showing respect for the profession. Depending on your personality you may want a little flare, but keep it confined to cuff links, or a slightly fancy tie, or even slightly different socks (not too different). Point is you cannot go wrong with dressing conservatively, 'cause even if they do not care it will still show that you take the whole thing seriously.
