Hey guys! I'm getting a Windows tablet later this week and I am very excited to use it as another tool in my veterinary toolbox! I am trying to find apps that people recommend for staying organized and on-topic in vet school (or for unwinding after long days of studying!). One person already recommended to me the app Drawboard for notes.

Any other suggestions? This is my first piece of touchscreen technology, and I am very excited!

I can second Drawboard. Super intuitive, easy to use on the fly, and auto-save is fantastic. I'd also recommend setting up a SkyDrive. I have one with folders for all of my classes to keep things organized. I can't really comment on fun apps; I mostly use my tablet for school and web surfing. ETA: If you aren't already getting a keyboard with it, do so. And depending on how much you want to store on it, a MicroSD card isn't a bad idea. I have a 64GB one.
