I was wondering if you guys would share how you did compared to how you felt leaving the testing sight. Did score about the same as you thought after the test or did you end up doing better or worse.

Thanks

I thought I did well. I was concerned that PS did not test the material that I knew best. Worried that if I thought it was easy, then it was easy for all therefore on a normal curve I may get 8's like all the rest. I did not finish a passage in PS and in VR. Scored 10/11/11. Guess it was easy for me and not everyone.
I believe that there is a degree of luck when it comes to test forms, there is one for you that you can get 11-12s, but it may not be issued to you the day of the exam.

I didn't feel so great coming out of the test. I think a lot of people felt that way. I ended up doing quite a bit better than I thought I did.

I was pretty depressed. I thought I'd bombed PS, in particular. (Like I was expecting a 5 or 6 or something). Verbal didn't feel great. The writing sample felt awful. And bio felt okay. My scores were much, much better than I expected.

This test is designed to be difficult and demoralizing. You probably did better than you think you did. Go out and enjoy the rest of summer!

Don't worry guys, I felt like shi+ after leaving the test center, but ended up just doing just fine on the mcat. The combination of nerves, touchy proctors, and the actual test will rarely make you feel good afterwards. Strangely, the few people I knew that thought the test was "a joke/easy" were the ones that were re-taking this August.

Just keep your head up, and try not to think about the test for the next few months. Face your scores when you have to, but try to focus on other aspects of your life until then. Otherwise the worrying will eat you alive.

Congrats on being done! 🙂

They sure know how to knock a man down and kick him in the balls a few times. Strange, but after the test, I found myself in my car in the parking lot at the test site, listening to GWAR at full volume, reving my engine and just waiting for my proctor to set one foot in the parking lot. Lucky bastard never showed, though. Probably learned from some previous proctors that they should use the backdoor after that mutha of a test.😀

Why were you expecting low scores? Was it due to a lot of guessing?

i expected score like 23~24...I almost voided my exam...
but SOMEHOW (i still don't know how) I got 30+

so don't worry about it....you all probably did well and I am already waiting to say "congratulation" to all of you! (at least MOST of you)

*wait, i am supposed to be BAD and wish you guys bad luck! since most of you will be competing a space against me! hehehe, well, i guess one of the quality a doctor needs is "team-work"...so fine, good luck 😎 "
