Which of the following is least likely to contribue to or affect stability of the dental arch form?

1) periodontal health
2) plane of occlusion
3) occlusal contact forces
4) interproximal contact form
5) forces exerted by lips and tongue

Answer: 2 (Booklet I-M)

I was able to rule out 1, 4, and 5. Can someone explain why 2 makes sense?

Plane of occlusion is more imaginary while the other choices have a functional role. This may be the reason.
