I just bought an Arco MCAT prep book which has 4 "practice tests" with answers. I just took the test 4 physical sciences section last night, and i was kinda shocked by how many raw calculations there were. There were some passages that had at least half of the questions as raw calculations. They even expected you to just 'know' plank's constant for the calculation of the energy of a photon.
i'm in TPR mcat course, and both our tests have been nothing like this. there have been a few calculation questions, but nothing absurd like this arco test. could anyone with real mcat experience sound off on which way the real mcat leans? thanks
