Are D.O.'s still allowed to do fellowships?

Supposedly the ACGME met about whether or not to ban D.O.'s who did an AOA accredited residency from doing ACGME accredited fellowships.

In other words, they considered allowing only doctors who did ACGME residencies to do ACGME fellowships.

This would effectively ban any D.O. radiologist who did an AOA accredited residency from doing an ACGME accredited fellowship.

Does anyone know the results of this meeting, how they ruled and when the ban might be implemented?

I think this may be moot considering the recent news about merging the residency accreditation bodies.
