I got a C fall quarter...so it's not exactly a positive thing to tell them. Plus it might knock my chances for UCLA, seeing as how I just got their secondary..

Updates on grades are usually used to increase your chances on getting into a school, whether that be by getting an interview, getting off the waitlist, or being offered an acceptance. Either way, the schools will know about this grade when your final transcripts are mailed, but that will be once you are accepted. I would not update them if it won't help your chances of being accepted.

If you get a UCLA interview, you will have to send in your current transcript before the interview.
