One of my friends just got an invite to Dartmouth (though he's pretty sure where he wants to go), and the person he called said they're still interviewing for seats. Just so you know.

Penn. St. is still giving out interview invites...so is Eastern VA...Duke is probably finished inviting people to interview. All of their available slots were taken through March 4th when I got invited 2 weeks ago, and the last day they interview is the 6th or 7th. FSU interviews through April.

I interviewed at Yale yesterday, and heard from the mouth of the Dean himself that they interview through the end of February, and give full consideration to all of those students as they do non-rolling admissions.

(Also, I was invited to interview only 2.5 weeks ago, so it is very possible that there are still invitations going out)

I heard the same thing when I was there on Monday. They definitely have more invites to give out so good luck to those who are waiting.

I just seems from scouting previous years that if you don't get an interview invite by about the middle of february, then you are SOL. They rarely come after that. I picked Feb 14th because its in the middle of february and its valentine's day. 😀 And also because I have two midterms that day (One at night) so my GF is going to kill me! 😱

i agree not to give up yet but we are getting close... many schools are finished the end of Feb or have given out all interview places... at some schools people have scheduled interviews in March and April so places are filling up. but as acpt's come in and cancel interviews a few places will open up. I have 3 interviews in Feb and don't expect anymore. even some school are only interviewing for wait list spots.

Yeah... I'm making Feb. 15th the day I give up and send out a letter of intent to my top choice of the schools at which I interviewed.

RLMitchell1, I'm so envious of you! I really wanted to interview at Yale. I sent them an update letter about a week ago, but I've all but given up hope. Realistically, I prob don't have the stats/app to get the interview. If they're interviewing 'til the end of Feb, and they give 2-2.5 weeks notice, then Feb 10th-Feb 15th will be the latest they're sending out those interviews. Good luck with the rest of the process! New Haven grows on you after a couple years.

Just talked to Sean Spellman at U of Colorado. He said they are interviewing through mid-March and interviews are still being given out.

I'm just curious if USC has been issuing anyone here any news regarding interviews/rejections. It's been pretty quiet here on my end. I did call the admissions office to find out if people were rejected and they told me that people have been unofficially rejected by email but the "official" rejection doesn't take place until the end. With that in mind, they told me that people will continue getting interviews until the end of March.

I'm just curious if there have been any recent interview invites and such. Just post your news. I'm sure everyone would like to be informed! Thanks =)

I really hope it works out for you, I loved everything about the school when I was there, minus the location. Oddly enough I applied to 15 schools, and have only been invited to interview at UCSF, Yale, and Cornell so far. It is a really scary basket to have all my eggs in. =)

According to this thread, Wake Forest has been finished for a while, but I got an invite today. I know from another thread that at least one other SDNers also got an invite from Wake today. For all practical purposes, they are probably pretty much out of spots since the last day of interviews is so soon, (in fact, I could be interviewing for a WL), but if there's anybody out there with your heart set on Wake, especially if you applied late, hang in there, there may be a couple of days of hope left.

Wayne State is interviewing for admission through March. There are rumors of April interviews.

I agree that while the interview season for many schools isn't over yet, it's definitely crunch time. Most schools send out invites around 3 or so weeks in advance, so if you're hoping for an interview sometime in March, Feb. is definitely do or die for invites. It's those last few weeks of waiting that are the longest.

I believe Cornell interviews through the end of February, as I received an invitation about 10 days ago and was given a choice of dates in February only. But who knows, they may also have wanted me to interview as soon as possible and so didn't offer anything in March?

Yale interviews through the end of February, and has non-rolling admissons. I am not sure when they stop handing invites out, they invite you and you are basically allowed to pick from any day they have room open. When I was invited there were spots still open for interviews that very week.

Harvard and UPenn have finished giving out all their invitations to interview. UCLA interviews through March so you still have a chance to receive an interview.

For those of you with late interviews don't give up. Wake is full right now but that's not to say that everyone will accept. Last year 35% of the class came off the waitlist so good luck!

RFU interviews at least til the end of April, I've seen all the dates.

I called them yesterday and was told they definitely interview through April and that they are late interviewers. (RFU) When I asked about my application she said it was complete and that the adcom could contact me any day now... Hope this helps. and MT SIN interviews until mid March

Emory is done on the 29th. Just got an interview invite for the 22nd so the last few should go out this week.
