I was wondering if we are required to finish all the prereqs before applying? By the time i apply i will have finished all of my prereqs except the math requirement. Will this cause any problems? Will it put me at any disadvantage?

Absolutely not. Even leaving a bio or chem lab or the like and then taking it pass/fail your last year is generally fine too, as long as you took the bulk of the pre-reqs prior to your application year and had a good record in them.

So ill be at no disadvantage?

nope, as long as you did well in your other pre-reqs.

No. You will have to take the class before you matriculate, as most med schools will, once a student is admitted, stick some adminstrative assistant with the task of going through each admitted student's transcript to make sure they have actually completed the formal prereqs and advise them that they must do so prior to matculating. However, it is perfectly reasonable and perhaps even expected to have a small number of the pre-reqs to be completed during the application year.
