Are U of Detroit Mercy, Howard U, and Louiville private schools? Just want to make sure while deciding the list. Thanks!

Im not really sure, but i know that all of them accept a large number of out of state students.

All of them are private. Don't apply to Howard unless you are from a minority group. You probably already knew that, but just making sure.

Actually U of Louisville is a public school now. (It used to be private years ago)

Does anyone know if U of Detroit Mercy is relatively easy to get in? I just look at their website and find they do not accept many students per year. They only accept 45 students (If I don't memorize incorrectly). Do you know it worths to apply based on maxizing my chance? Thanks for sharing your opinion.
