I'm thinking about inviting my mentor to my white coat ceremony. But I didn't know if it was just for families. She's a dentist and helped me significantly in getting into school. I'm trying to find a way to express my appreciation. What do you guys think?

Yes, mine is giving me my white coat at the ceremony. Not sure if that's how every school does it though.

Yes she lives in the state. I believe she is also adjunct faculty for the school as the D4s rotate through her clinics.

Yes lives an hour away and is an alumni of school I'm going to. Probably take him and his wife to dinner after to thank them for coming.
