are you guys taking college physics or university physics

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
the distinction is prob diff at every school, check with the pre-health counselor to see which one they expect you to take. I took university physics, but at another school i attended the same wasnt expected.

I only had to take college physics 1 and 2 for my biology degree. I don't know why you would take the university (calc-based) physics classes if dental schools don't require them. I had plenty on my plate with shadowing, volunteering, working, studying, and living, so I didn't need the extra challenge.

Dental school requires 2 semesters (1 year) of general physics. So you can take either one to receive credit for dental school. However it varies which one you have to take for what degree your getting. If your degree allows you to take either one, take non-calc based. Since this will be easier.
