Hi all! Thank you for any insight you might provide.

A bit about me: deleted for privacy, sorry.

Arizona-Tucson:
Pros:
--Really good vibes on interview day from faculty and students
--Smaller class size
--18 month preclerkship phase curriculum
--Proximity to family
--Low cost of living

Cons:
--Less prestige/rank in both research and primary care
--Tucson isn't an ideal location
--Lower average STEP scores

Albert Einstein:
Pros:
--Location: proximity to NYC, urban underserved patient population
--More research opportunities
--Greater prestige/ranking
--Cheap subsidized on-campus housing
--Higher average STEP scores

Cons:
--Traditional 2+2 curriculum
--Interview day structure not the best, unsure how this reflects on admin as a whole
--Great at matching students in NY/on the east coast, less so elsewhere

Both:
--Similar COA
--Electives and global health opportunities I'm interested in

In terms of securing a residency, either school will allow you to match back in California so go based on where you would be more happy!
