I have a question regarding when my NBDE part II and the AEGD-1. I will be applying this coming fall as a new senior for the AEGD-1. However, I am not sure whether the part II scores are required for the application. At my school most students take the part II in late fall after most students have applied to their civillian residencies.

What is the protocol for my AEGD-1 application. Do they require scores before I apply or do I just need to submit my (passing) scores before I graduate?

I have emailed a few folks at the student management office but have yet to receive a reply. I'd appreciate any feedback as to what previous students have done. Thanks.

2 HPSP seniors at my school took boards in December, and were accepted around the same time for the 1 year program, so I would assume that it is not necessary for the application, but obviously you must prove at some point that you passed.

Not necessary to have the scores to apply. You just have to make sure you graduate dental school prior to the program starting or you will be dropped.
