Army AEGD vs. GPR

Does anyone know if it is better to do an Army AEGD or a GPR if I'm looking to specialize after? Also, can you do the GPR right out of school or do you have to do the snowbird year?

there's no army gpr. and if you get the 1 year spot, you would do it right after school.

from what i've heard if you want to specialize it's definitely recommended
