I was told today by my recruiter that they aren't deploying doctors or dentist for longer than 90 days? This seemed a little fishy so I wondered what others have heard or experienced.

"My recruiter told me..." Is the start of a lot of bad jokes within the whole military.

that is true in the national guard and reserves only. active duty dentists deploy for either six months or one year.

I am deployed right now, and the only thing I wanted to add is that most dentists (90+%) that deploy only go for 6 months.
