Medical and Dental Student Stipend Program (MDSSP)
The Medical and Dental Student Stipend Program (MDSSP) is an incentive based program targeted to medical and dental students. This program will offer medical and dental students a monthly stipend of at least $2,060. In return, each participant will incur a one-year service obligation for every six months (or part thereof) for which they receive the stipend.

Not worth it unless you' really need the cash. Basically, while a student you get $2060 a month for 6 months, which incurs a 1 year commitment. So basically for a full year of stipend, you incur a 2 YEAR commitment. For four full years of stipend you get Coming right out of school, you can get the same amount of money ($25,000) for a ONE YEAR commitment.
So if you take the four full years of stipend, you incure EIGHT YEARS of commitment, and you're PROBABLY NOT eligbile for the special pay bonus or the HPLRP concurrently.
Also, my recruiter confirmed that the Student Recruiter Program has no funding. So your choices are basically HPSP, Special Pay Bonus, HPLRP or MDSSP.
