You can also go 30 days 'in the hole' with command authorization, but this means no leave for the next 365 days. That being said, some commands will cut you some slack. I was allowed 6 weeks, but I was the one who had the baby.

(at least what I have seen) Can be longer in line units that are not ramping up to deploy. I got half a day with my first. Admittedly I was an intern in the ICU at the time of delivery.
