Does anyone know which of the Army Hospitals has an excess number of Transitional Year slots, meaning slots that are not part of a "pre-select" residency pairing?
For example, I know that at Walter Reed almost all of the Transitional Year spots except like one or two are Pre-selects and therefore paired with a residency. Does anyone know about the other hospitals?
I'm just curious what the odds are that if I don't get my pre-select specialty of choice how likely it will be that I will still get picked up for a tranisitional year.
