Does anyone have any experience with this program? Know any grads from it? Just wondering what people thought of this program? Is it a good one?

How are DO NS programs in general? Are they comparable in training to Allopathic programs?

there are some excellent DO Nsurg programs, and there are some terrible ones

Thats good to hear  What about this one in particular? Which other programs would most people consider to be decent to excellent?

this is what i know about arrowhead.

they have graduated two residents total from their program
the last graduate (in 05) is now in philadelphia working as a trauma 'fellow'. his program director would not sign off on his training without this provisional year.

also they have lost residents lately to other programs

Why would he need to do a trauma fellowship post NS?

So what is happening to most of their residents? They are transfering to other programs?

You are absolutely right about PCOM. Dr. Kanoff was my faculty mentor when I was a student there. I spent alot of time with the NS service, attending monthly NS journal club, etc. I wound have become a resident there had I not had a military obligation, which would not allow me.
