and for the record, the earthquake was actually in mexico.

It's not as common as people think 🙁
Not as scary as it used to be in the good old days though
I think the houses they build are able to withstand an 8 until the foundation breaks or something...

We had earthquake in the suburbs of chicago too. You are not alone. It was only 3.8 though.
