ASC facility payments

Hey guys, I just want to make sure I have the correct understanding of ASC facility payments based on the ASIPP published fee schedule. Do we get double the facility fee for bilateral procedures? How does payment work for multiple levels performed? Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

My understanding is, pro fee is 1.5x for bilateral.

Facility fee does not change.

wouldn't be surprised if the only entity getting 2x for b/l procedures is a hospital for it's facility fee lol

Thank you for the response. I also understood it that way, but a colleague told me differently. I believe we are correct that the facility fee remains the same despite laterality.

Our ASC partners with SCA, charges 1.5 facility fee for bilateral procedure, 1.0 for multiple levels procedure. Hoping this help.
