They're better at life and they get better grades than you for a reason. Pictures of Asian students from universities sleeping in the library and lecture halls.

are you one of them? I know I am. I'm sure many of you would be able to find yourselves on this site.

lol what kind of a weirdo goes around taking pictures of sleeping asians??

******* studying at Barnes and Noble and telling people who are talking loud to "shh". Idiots. It's a store, not a study hall.

I always feel like taking a nap at school (I commute) but I can never find any good places where it wouldn't be extremely awkward. They need to create some kind of awesome napping room with comfy chairs and couches.

.......I don't get it. 😕
lol wat

At our school we have private rooms in the library, but they're full glass walls on at least one side, so everyone can see. When I was studying for the MCAT, they were always full of people sleeping. The worst was when I came in one morning around 7 and thought "sweeeeet free room" and then I saw a used condom in the trash 🙁

Sorry about that.........

I commute too, and was about to fall asleep in the library during finals after an all nighter. I decided not to. I then fell asleep on the bus and woke up in the wrong city. It sucked.

Argh, there is always that kid in class that sleeps and has that A all through out the semester/year. Whether it was high school and now college. Here I am sitting there hopped up on caffeine, and then there is this guy or girl just taking a nap, and then are all chill and **** when exams come around.

**** those people! 🙁

In one of the classes I took this semester I was "that guy (girl)" but I went to school with a guy who never took notes in physics had 100s on all his tests in math/physics, and now he has a PhD from MIT... and he was cute, and Asian...

My freshman year of college this Asian kid fall asleep during our three hour calc final. He just took a nice long nap, and then woke up and finished the final. I bet he did better than me too.

I can't even hate on someone like that because they are just obviously brilliant.

It's a bookstore, not a bar.
Either one is not a place where you would expect it to be quiet. It's a store. Get out and go to the library if you want to study in a quiet place. Who actually goes to a store and expects it to be quiet.

Lol, I definitely joined the "book club" in my school library too . Our school doesn't have the library open 24/7 like some schools, but one year they decided to give it a try for finals only. My buddy and I each got our own private study rooms and piled them with sleeping bags, coffee pots, food, pillows and even a miniature heater. I ended up staying there 5 days before the musty old book smell got to me and I had to go home. Good times 👍. To date the longest I have ever gone without taking a shower. I still wonder how the other people taking the final managed to focus if they sat next to me.

Haha, especially like the ones that come prepared with a sleeping bags.

I'm a caucasian who has slept in the library on multiple occasions for prolonged periods. Sprawl out on a couch, push two comfy chairs together and lay out, whatever. If I'm sleepy, and it's going to be a late night, the sleep is happening.

Every campus has a comfortable place to sleep. Remember, it's only awkward for the wakeful person that can't help but stare at your open-mouthed, drooling, snoring brilliance. I was once awakened from a long car nap by two students talking loudly about me sleeping in my car. I shot them a quick look through the glass and went back to sleep.

In life, it is important for one to take it where one can get it. This applies to so much more than sleep.

 People practically sleep almost everywhere in my school. Anywhere there's a comfortable chair. Actually, that's not even a requirement. People will nap out on the low brick walls we have. There's actually a room in one of the buildings I have class in a lot that isn't used very much and has the BEST couches ever. The place is quiet, dark, and unpopulated. Amazing.

Asians are some of the hardest working people I know. Do not hate, just appreciate. The creator of the website claims to be a Jew who also sleeps in the library. Very funny.

I don't think anyone's hating... I'm certainly not... Most of my bosses are Asian, and they are very smart and very hardworking... I think the main difference is their families teach better study habits from an earlier age... Not that they are necessarily more intelligent (or more capable of learning) than the rest, just that they are more focused and driven... That goes a long way...

Asians are so adorable. They are like cats.

I spend a lot of time studying at Starbucks, and while I don't expect it to be perfectly quiet (I go there exactly because it ISN'T super quiet), I get irritated when obnoxious people are talking at the top of their lungs and let their toddlers run around and scream while they continue their conversations as if nothing is happening.

I used to do this as well, and while background noise is okay for studying, a TON of it isn't. Most of the things cole describe would be inappropriate in social settings even if you weren't studying, it just tends to bother the studier more because in addition to being annoying it ALSO breaks your focus. That's why I got noise canceling headphones - cuts out about 90% of the noise which means you can study pretty much anywhere.

I love sleeping in the library. Being able to instantaneously have a great nap anywhere is probably my greatest skill. I never realized how awkward it might seem....

Well sure, the annoying parents who have the parenting skills of an alley cat can be annoying and the guy on his cell phone talking at 1 billion dB is also annoying. They do need to be a little bit more considerate of others and not pollute the air that other people share. However, it has to be expected that people are going to be somewhat boisterous when going out shopping in a public place. Most people are animated and not always soft spoken, and for some rude little **** trying to study calculus in a public place to tell someone to "shh" is more socially inappropriate then the people simply being people at a shopping center.

yeah I thought that too. some of them are just too fake.
You mean like this one; a guy falling asleep in the crotch of his friend, with the friend looking like he's receiving the blowjob of his life.

during M1 year, I used to nap all the time. My wife and I shared a car, and she'd drop me off at school before she went to work at 6:30am often, and either I'd fall asleep then or in the afternoon when I was exhausted from already studying for a while. I didn't really have time to nap as an M2...

There a classes in college that are graded on a curve? 😕

I always feel too vulnerable to nap in the library! I don't want anyone stealing my notes or laptop or books so I have this mental block that keeps me from crashing out even when I want to. It's always in the middle of class when I get the overwhelming urge to take a nap! 🙄

Those darn hoods at my school are always on the hunt for notes. In fact, in front of all buildings on campus there are note lock racks. At night you can even get a note escort. When will it end: wars, famine, and note taking?

Just messin with ya. I could actually see someone doing that, sadly.

some of the pics on the site looks really fake like the one with the guy sleeping on the vending machine 😵"

Im asian and i wish i was smart :/ i have to work hard for my grades lmao
