How was the pay? Are you a current med student?
Best way to describe a wrestler's pay not signed by any of the big companies would be a musician. You are always in search of the better gig/opportunity. I'm not a med stud yet, I'm applying next yr to podiatry and allo/osteo programs

Did you ever work for a big name outfit like wwf, wcw or ecw?
Had some tryout matches before I was dropped on my head giving me nerve problems in my shoulders. Since then I haven't been the same.

Depends. If we are talking about things like work rate and technical ability it would be probably a Bret Hart or a Mr. Perfect or Shawn Michaels. If we are talking IT factor it would be The Rock.

Yes and no. It would be accurate if he was just starting off but if he was a big star in his heyday Randy The Ram would be able to pick and choose his matches better and wouldn't have to rise killing himself every night.
The problem with the wrestler is we don't know how Randy fell from grace. If he was black balled then the movie would be accurate but for all we know he could have just gotten hurt (which happens to every wrestler) and was trying a comeback.

Not being with a "big company," I assume you had to provide your own health insurance? Are there unions? Seems like a profession with high risk of injury and would be to the benefit of pro-wrestlers to have access to good quality health insurance.
Well there could have been a union if King Kong Bundy wasn't a pansy back in the day. Everyone was afraid of Vince McMahon that's why there is no union. Even wrestlers signed by some of the big companies have to cover their own health expenses.

I thought Vince was only the make believe manager for dramatic effects...LOL
Yea what happened was Bundy was supposed to fight Hulk Hogan in a main event of a big show, I think Wrestlemania. Jesse Ventura was trying to unionize everyone because Hogan made waaaayyyy more than everyone else. They had Bundy on their side and they were gonna refuse to perform that night if they didn't get a union. Everyone chickened out at the last minute.
Nah he's the guy that made wrestling what it is today. If you didn't have Vince there would still be a territory system that finally died in the late 80s.
