Asked if can leave interview early

So I have an IM interview in a few months and by looking at the flights, it is over $200 cheaper and several hours saved if I could leave by 2:45 instead of 3:30 when they say the day ends. (Starts at 9am). How bad would it look to ask about this?

You can ask the Coordinator at the program to see if he/she can be kind enough to accommodate you. Usually if you ask nicely, they will do their best to schedule your interviews earlier so that you can make your flight. Your interviewer most likely won't even know any of this as they are busy people usually taking time out of their day for a couple of interviews.
