Does anyone know a good doctor thats is welling to teach? if yes, which hospital is he working?

i am really desperate, i asked my friends but they wont answer to i thought i will ask you guys and so i did..

Am sooooo grateful for your help.
thanks a lot~

Umm.. Ok, I study medicine and in my country it goes like this
Year 1 and 2 for basics then we study organ base for 2 years (organ system)
Then, our last 2 years, we spend at hospitals..
U see? Collectively 6 years...
In the fifth year, we do the elective during the summer. We get to chose the department and i picked the cardiology..
And here i ask you guys if you know a good cardiac surgeon who is willing to teach students, and where he works..

Regardless of whether you are interested in doing an elective with a cardiologist (a medical speciality) or a cardiothoracic surgeon (a surgical speciality) in most cases a medical school program in the US will require that you are a final year student (ie, your 6th year). There may be many other requirements as well.

The AAMC (American Association of Medical Colleges) maintains a list of electives and you can choose to search the database by geographical region, whether they charge fees and of course whether they even accept international students (many don't). The URL is: https//services.aamc.org/eec/students

If your school has not had students undertake international electives before, they (and future students) may benefit from the GHLO (Global Health Learning Opportunities) Collaborative which helps facilitate electives outside student's home countries (NB: this program is designed for medical school faculty to help set these up, not for the individual student): https//www.aamc.org/services/glho

Finally there is a thread in the SDN International Forum about electives for foreign students which may be helpful.
