Asking school to reschedule interview

So I have an interview for UCSF January 30th and an interview for UCSD February 6th, and I have already confirmed both. However, I also received an invite from UT Austin for either one of those weekends... obviously I have a conflict. I live in Florida, so flying out to California back to back weekends is a bit of a burden. Is it a bad idea to ask UCSD if they would consider switching my interview to January 31st, because of travel/location issues? How have other people dealt with multiple interviews falling on the same dates, I have already gotten about 5 invites for those same two weekends 😕

I did that too. I pushed all my non top choices back with simpl just an email or call. They are pretty understanding about it, just say something about schedule conflict of family problem. Your case might be different though because I know the deadline for the Cali schools cut early, so you might already be in the last interview cycle.

I don't know about UCSD, but UCSF was pretty understanding about rescheduling my interview since I already had another interview on the same day they offered me. Maybe try moving your UCSF interview closer to the UCSD one, I know they have interviews on February 5th (although it might be a pain to get from SF to SD in between lol) I would just call them [emoji1]
