Finding a place to stay in San Diego looks to be pretty expensive especially since I'll be there for 4 nights.

Anyone know of any options other than staying at a $200-300/night hotel? Or maybe someone wants to share a room and split the cost?

Have you tried orbitz, expedia or priceline? Priceline is really good sometimes, as you can name your price for a specific class of hotel in a specific location in the city. The only downside is that you won't know which hotel it is until after you win.

I nailed down the doubletree on priceline for $105 for the week.
