astronomy letter of rec

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
i'm taking pchem right now... and i was surprised that some of the stuff that i'm learning in pchem is highly related to biochemistry AND astronomy (rydbergy equation, paschen, balmer, lyman series, etc). so...it might be distantly related, but science is science. formulating/testing hypothesis is relatively the same thing in astronomy/bio/physics/chem/etc. but i'd try to get some some advice from some of the current MD/PhD students who had successful apps.

I suppose as long as you do have strong letters from your research mentors then an extra positive letter won't hurt?
