Who needs eight years of medical training?
http://www.detnews.com/2005/health/0503/07/A02-109401.htm
For me:
Potential pros:
-could act as a sort of 'preventive medicine'
-it is safe from insurance companies
Potential cons:
-accuracy?
-even if you have a mutated gene, what is the percent correlation with developing the disease?
-more patients telling doctors what is wrong with them and what they need to treat it. (a la carte = McMedicine)
Any other opinions about this out there?
