At what point should I seriously worry about not getting interview invites?

Hi, I applied a little late, like late september late, and the first school I heard back seemed to have rejected me (buffalo, continuing review). Now I'm starting to get worried about not getting any interview, pre-december ones at least. Anyone been through similar situation? Please help.

I finished most schools application by mid August and heard none from them. But I heard back from a few that I applied in September, so it really depends on the school. Idk when you should start but I think you got a month or two till you start worrying.

Technically it still IS late September (as of today, Sep. 30).......don't expect interviews to pop up within only weeks from the date of your application submission. These things can take MONTHS.

You are very late. It's almost October. You may get some post dec interviews but it will be hard.

Sorry I mean I applied in August but I received confirmation for completed application and "under review by adcom" email in late September, the earliest ones being Sept 16.
Do I still have no chance at pre-dec interview?

In that case I would say at the beggining of November is when you count out pre dec.

Idk why everyone's saying your late to be honest lol. I got my app complete September 21 and got an interview on September 29 for an early November interview. So it's not late cause clearly schools are still giving early November invites. Take SDN with a grain of salt. 🙄

I agree with the other posters. You applied pretty late. I wouldn't expect anything so soon. That's not to say you won't get any interviews, but this process takes tons of time (processing, etc).

I my opinion it depends on what schools you applied to and what state your from. For instance, Texas A and M doesn't start looking at Arkansas residents until Oct. 1st. Meaning you could apply to that particular school late Sept. if your an Arkansas resident and be catching the front end of the interviews (for Ar. residents). I think that most schools are happy with telling students this type of information. I recommend calling admissions and just asking them. That way you know where you are at for the schools you applied to, and you'll be more prepared next cycle (if your not accepted this year). Every school is different. Just because some start giving out interviews in June doesn't mean that all of them do. It depends on the school and where your located. I agree most schools start the cycle in June and that Sept is late for most schools but that is not always the case. Hope that is helpful.
