Anyone recently negotiated rates with Athena EMR? I was just quoted low-7% and trying to figure out if this is competitive. Has anyone tried opting out of the prior auth to lower pricing? We plan to use them for billing, but I hear they are pretty poor in that department.

I've been in meetings with private practice owners where Athena offered everyone some different set of options. "Well it must've changed because you can only do X now." There will be debates about whether Athena One or the other thing is still available. Debates about how involved Athena has to be in your billing.

Point being, it seems possible Athena salespeople will flat out lie to customers about the available options. I would go in very informed.
