Have you talked to AB yet? My impression from long ago was that the deposit is non-refundable. I remember having this debate because I was still waiting to hear back from Univ. of Melbourne, and the deposit due date was coming up. So just decided to bite the bullet knowing I could lose a couple thousand dollars, but ended up choosing here anyway...
