Hey all,
I've just started my third year in arts undergrad but am fairly set on med school, in particular, Atlantic bridge. I am generally pretty scientifically literate but I took my first university level chem course today and was disgusted to discover that it was essentially all calculus, and that I, consequently, was out of my depth.
I love the conceptual elements of science and some math here and there as long as I can visualize what I'm solving for. I'm strongly contemplating dropping chem but wonder how an AB application would look without it.
I've taken organismal bio and molecular cell bio and will likely take genetics and some more upper-level bios next year...but is this enough?
Essentially hoping to maintain my GPA by taking the smallest amount of core science pre reqs as possible...but also presenting as a competitive applicant.
If any AB success stories have words of wisdom I would love to hear!!!
Cheers
