Attaining in-state residency status

I recently talked to the admissions office at UNLV and found out that you can get in-state residency (and thus in-state tuition) after your first year even if you have never lived in Nevada before. Does anyone know of any other schools that allow you to get in-state residency after your first year (or even earlier) if you are originally an out-of-state applicant?
