In my school audits show up on the transcript. I thought it would be nice to audit (or take pass-fail) Calc III, but I'm not sure if it looks bad to audit a class, especially since Calc III should be included in the BCPM GPA had I not audited it, right? I've already taken Calc I and II, statistics and computer science, so I think I would meet most of the quantitative class requirements for most medical schools.
Is it bad to audit in my case? Would admissions committees think that I had intended to take Calc III, thought it was too hard, and switched to audit because I was about to get a bad grade? I'm actually doing it out of interest, but I don't want it to hurt my record.
Thanks!
