It takes a fair amount of insight for that. Not all reviews mention those kind of things. There are most definitely people with a personality that takes a while to warm up to, which I think is a bigger detriment and may not be mentioned. Very few people are aware if they are that type of person though.
I've been told to view them less as an "audition" and more as a chance to see how a different system works and learn a little about the program. You have to reflect on your relative clinical strengths as to whether it is an audition for you. Some people just pick up stuff fast, seem to learn their away around and aren't easily distraught. They have that clinical sense and exposure that gives them an edge. Others ( like me) take about a week just to get acclimated to their environment, which can be a detriment.
