Okay . . . from the countdown thread it seemed like mustangsally was going to start the "scores" thread, but I just went ahead and did it.

Whoever wants to can post their scores Thursday/Friday or whenever and we'll all offer each other support/congrats. I'll be one of the first to post, that's for sure. That way, we'll also be able to tell when scores are out! Who's with me? :hardy:

LOL. I was just going to post a thread about how I want to throw up and see if anyone else felt the same way. After a millisecond, I thought to myself what a STUPID question that is!! I am going to go to the bathroom for the 8th time since you guys posted the Examinee Data up.

Ah.....I'll be sitting inside a tiny study area cubicle thinking, man what a gorgeous night it is out here, and I'm stuck behind a desk, again. J/K, I'd love to be in that position.

I swear I have spent the last hour on this ****ing forum! The worst part is everytime I click on a page there is someone else responding to this thread. Man, maybe it would of been better if I was never exposed to SDN? 😕

It would have been infitensmally times better had you not found SDN. But you did, so stick with it. At least your windows don't leak. Mine leak because of all this rain. A few hours, adn the scores come out. I'm getting out of my room now and going to Ruby Tuesday's. And then I will calmly check my score and endulge myself with ice cream.

Is it possible the scores won't come out tonight? There havn't been any changes on the message system. :scared:

Hey guys,

So Yom Kippor is finally over and now I can talk on here. I just went to the MCAT site and this is the message posted...."Thank you for your patience. The scores will be loaded tonight, but probably close to midnight Eastern time (certainly not before 10:30pm)."

I'm really good at predicting my MCAT scores. Usually, I get in the low 30s and I was thinking for next April of studying harder and getting in the mid-30s, but on the actual thing I'm pretty sure I got a 25!! Given my psychic abilities with predicting MCAT scores I feel stupid that I'm still anxious to see it. At best it'll be a 26 o 27, which is still below practice scores. I just want to get this over with, take the bullet, pie in the face etc...good luck to everyone!!!

This is so stupid. I'm not in pieces or anything, I'm not in pieces or anything, just highly annoyed.
VR 10, PS 6 (yes a 6), BS 10, W P
I mean, I would rather it be really bad or really good, which for me is a 30 and up. Being in the middle is the worst. I hate it. Now I'm like, should I even bother to apply because people are harrasing me about it nonstop, making threatening phone calls and leaving strange messages and saying odd things during conversation. I mean, I got a 26, my PS science score sucks but it may be considered within reason to apply with such a score. Nevermind the fact that my GPA sucks and I have not been motivated to take care of other application steps because I'm, in general, annoyed and stressed and and wish people would live me the heck alone and let me make life-changing decisions on my own instead of making assumptions and not talking to me. And I didn't get a 30+. So even after avoiding the application cycle I would still have to take kaplan over. And f*** PS, I hate it and I don't want to be bothered, but Kaplan repeat would be a neccesary evil at least.

I'm a little under the influence. Good night. I wish people who got crappy scores would just post their scores already too.

does anyone know if any school actually takes the best scores from each section and uses them as a composite? I could really use that 🙁 . Didn't study at all for this august one, just wanted to get my verbal up...that excuse isn't going to fly very well is it.

How does an 11V, 8P, and 10B stand out - i know the 8 is a little low, but is it prohibitively so?

These things determine how you will do through the application process. If all of the above is good, and also if you are in a state with schools that are not too competitive to get into, then you will be ok.

For the most optimal answer, I'd ask admissions directors if they are willing to talk to you. I've heard Penn residents don't have this sort of luck to be able to get real answers from adcom members, but places like USF, Umiami, NJMS, etc. will be very straight forward in this manner from what I've heard from others.

I'm a US American, Overall GPA 3.6, Science 3.37, home state is CT. Have an interview at UCONN in January. As far as EC's - I worked as a research assistant at Yale med school every summer during college doing clinical work with psychiatric patients (ended up being "Chief RA"), editor-in chief college yearbook, volunteered with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and have worked at Mass general hospital for the past year and a half running clinical drug trials and have 1 publication with another one in the works.

however, if you have an interview already then I doubt they have a problem with your numbers since that's usually an indication that they're pretty much past the numbers part and more about wanting to assess the rest of the application at that point.

I tend to think the research and clinical experiences you have will help you out somewhat significantly and I would apply broad range to schools all over the place. Look through the MSAR for a good idea of different schools.

I tend to think you'll be ok though.
