Once my MCAT scores came out I received 3 interviews, and my share of rejections, but there are about 15-20 schools where I've been complete since August and haven't heard anything. Is this good, bad, or did they lose my file? Do some schools make you wait to Feb/March before they reject you post secondary? Just curious, and I'd love to plan my long distance interviews together if possible but I don't want to call & harrass the schools.

remember the schools have a massive amount of stuff to go through and they're gonna take their time, so don't give up. u can hear from them, as late as march or even april.
as for rejections, a lot of schools wait but a lot of schools send them out early too....so usually no news can be considered to be good news.

as for scheduling the interviews together, if u get one, get in touch with others in the surrounding area and let them know of the dates. and if ur traveling somewhere, let the schools in the region know

good luck

Did all of your schools confirm that you are complete? If not, it's worth a call - you want to make sure there isn't a misplaced recommendation letter, misfiling of your application, etc. Even if they did confirm that you are complete, it doesn't hurt to call. All of the schools that I have called have been happy to tell me my status, i.e. "no decision has been made on your file," or "your application will be reviewed again after the new year," or "you are in the 2nd of 4 interview groups," or even "oh, the committee just met and I was about to mail you an interview invite!" I'm not saying to call every week, but once in a while is ok.

Good luck, and congrats on your 3 interviews!
