Reading most of these threads, I understand it is beneficial to submit AMCAS as early as possible reagardless if I'm taking the MCAT in August. I am ready to submit the AMCAS. However, I cannot start working on any secondaries until after the MCAT. Will I be in trouble with secondary due dates or do the AMCAS processing time and secondary deadlines give me enough buffer time?

Thank you!

submit your amcas now. It will take a few weeks to verify you as it is and then there is a lag period where the schools will send you secondaries which ought to be after the August MCAT. Its only abou 6weeks away right? I think you should be fine. Just make sure to write down on your secondaries if they ask, that they should hold your application until your MCAT scores are released (if you have a prior score that you're not happy with)
