August MCAT while taking summer class?

I find that I am having a hard time balancing my time between my histology class and studying for the Aug. MCAT. I know there are lots of people who are in the same situation so I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone has about how they are handling the situation. How are you studying so that you ensure that you do well in both the class and on the MCAT.

Also, is everyone done by this point and just doing practice tests and passages? I am not quite there yet but I'm making flash cards as I go along and am putting in good hours on Sundays and Fridays when I don't have class. I can still recall some stuff from studying for April's test..

Also, for anyone that has taken histology, do you have ANY advice on how to pick out tissues/cells on slides? I am having a heck of time trying to identify things... 🙁

It's easy. Just don't study much for both. 😀

Try taking it with a full load of classes 😱. It gets pretty bad sometimes, especially when you have to study for finals. You really have to squeeze in time to study in between everything. Like after a test, I usually take like 2-3 days off, but not with the MCAT. I had to study every free moment and everytime I wasn't studying I felt guilty 🙁.

Oh yea and histology is a cool class. Study with a group 👍.
