Here is a list of average acceptance stats I accumulated while applying for school a couple years ago. Some may be a little out date, but all should be close to the current norms. Ignore the opinions. If there are two prices in the Tuition category, one is for out-of-state and the other in-state. The GPA's are also listed by Overall GPA and Science GPA for some schools.

Thanks for the PDF. Its interesting to see the MCAT vs GPA for each school on there. By the way, this info may not have been collected by you, but NYCOM isnt necessarily rural, it just has lots of trees and grass.

As well as I think some of your tuition figures are way off ... I know UMDNJ-SOM's tuition is about $5K higher than what you stated.

And not everyone knows the trick to the loophole in state residency but its getting around now. You could actually be a state resident (per the school) prior to your first year.

This one is true. I've heard about this from time to time. If you apply as out of state resident, you have to sign a contract saying that you will practice in Ohio for 5 years.

Deposit for CCOM was $1000 not $2000. Also deposit for COMP was $2000.

You can check with UMDNJ, but I'm pretty sure that all you need to be considered a resident is a NJ drivers license and/or a copy of a NJ lease.

You need a lease which then you can get a license (which in order to get that in the state of NJ you need proof of address) and BAM, prior to first year you are a NJ state resident. Suckers (meaning UMDNJ)
