Average ENT COMLEX score?

I was wondering if anyone knew around what the average score is for matched applicants to traditionally osteopathic ENT programs ? Also was wondering the average amount of pubs

ENT is very competitive these days, but here's a couple sage pointers a DO ENT told me are key to getting in:

COMLEX Score: As high as possible.

Publications: As many as possible.

Hey! So its really hard to answer your question to be honest haha. There is no good data for DO specific programs for the last like 6 years, and possibly no good data for the foreseeable future since the accredited programs will just be lumped in with the rest of the programs in the NRMP report. Could be wrong though haven't looked at the NRMP report in a while.
When the matches were separate they would release an osteopathic GME match report. The official website took them all down but sometimes you can find the PDFs on other websites. The most recent is the 2014 report. It has a breakdown for ENT applicants in it. I would say thats probably your best reference even though its so out of date. I would say based on looking at applicants for the last couple of years the numbers seem to be pretty similar.

I believe MSU released a document for the 2018 cycle that had national averages on it for specialties. ENT was low 600s if I remember correctly. Probably gone up since then to mid 600s.

In my experience once you cross the 600 line most competitive specialty programs (in the DO world) whether or not you get a spot will come down to the audition. There are always outlier programs that are very board heavy and want 700s only, but a 600 is typically the magic number where programs want you to be.

Will have to agree with this. If you level 1 is above 600, maybe 650 now. You'll be in the running for a lot of competitive specialties and the only thing that will be left is doing well on level 2 and killing your auditions to secure yourself a spot.

Thanks for your replies you guys. Yes there is very limited data out there, I did see the document MSU released and it said the average was somewhere like 620? I do not remember exactly, just figured someone on here might know a little bit more about this from personal experience or from friends who've matched. Thanks again guys.

Personally I know someone who matched this cycle with ~600. Our program is typically high 600s on average, with a few lower and a few higher.
