Close to 2k. Probably a little less.

Obviously this depends on how many interviews you get and where they are. If you live close by to a dental school that is interviewing you, then the cost of that trip is next to nothing. If you have to fly around, then things start getting expensive. For me, each traveling trip for interviews (i.e. flying + hotel) cost around $600.

I agree that this really depends on how many interviews a person receives. If they had to interview at all 10 places, the flight and hotel costs could REALLY rack up!
