hey iam just curious, wat are the average GPA & MCAT of DO students. And wat is the minimum GPA and MCAT with which somone can enter DO school.

not sure about the minimums...but avg MCATS are usually b/w 24-29 depending on the school and GPA's usually seem to be b/w 3.3-3.6

For KCUMB, I'm pretty sure the avg's I saw about 10 days ago were like 3.6 GPA and 26 MCAT or so...I'd have to look.

they are often on the websites and vary for individual schools. Also, it's difficult to tell the ranges.

Also keep in mind that when a school says, "typically successful applicants have a ...." that's usually a good bit higher than what is actually the truth.

you'll find that at the more competitive DO schools the avgs are 26ish for MCAT and 3.4-3.5ish for GPA...about the same in terms of competitiveness as some lower-tier md schools...
