Hi, I was hoping someone could tell me the kind of board scores needed to get ob/gyn. I know it depends on alot of other things too, but I would appreciate a response.

Hi, with the recent down-swing in OB/Gyn popularity, which is due to several reasons:
1. Declining males in the field (less sheer #s),
2. Purported horrible lifestyle, and
3. Ridiculous Malpractice Insurance rates,
it appears that OB/Gyn will soon become one of the easiest residencies to attain.

The people that are entering OB in my class are those females that are truly caring and compassionate people. Not to say that people who go into Plastics, for instance, aren't compassionate, I'm just saying that these individuals are truly in it for the kids and the moms.

Oh, to answer your question, >190 should place you at a very decent progrm.
