I...I didn't even really process that someone had to make those gifs instead of plucking them out of the aether
How do you make them?
well i use paint.net to make the frames for the gif because it's pretty simple and intuitive and i never bother with learning photoshop
the first frame is the stock image with the award name on it
the third frame is the black background image with the name of the winner on it
the second frame goes in between those for the transition, that's just the black background pic without the name of the winner on it
then you can go to ezgif.com to compile the three frames into the gif and play around with things like the delay and crossfading to make it smooth
so all in all it's a simple process for each individual gif but
when there's thirty of em it gets kinda serious
