Word is that they only sent out a handful of acceptances.
I at first didn't believe this, but when I look at the acceptance/matriculant ratio from last year, I think it makes sense.
Here's my take (OPINION only): it seems the committee *really* chooses to give applicants acceptances who they believe are a good fit and committed to the program. This means that nearly everybody who gets an acceptance will come here.
I think they gave out ~85 acceptances last year for 54 spots, which is practically an unheard of ratio. Most schools would at LEAST give out triple the amount of seats to ensure a full class.
But in any event, I'm guessing that AZ will continue to trickle out the acceptances from this point out.
